Energy Bites Apple1Apple “Pie” Antioxidant Bites

Delicious little bites that get you thru that hungry time.  Easy and fun for kids to make too!


2 cups dried apples
3/4 cup pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp coconut flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
2-3 tbsp water

Put all ingredients except water into a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
Add a little water at a time until mixture forms ball.  Spoon by teaspoon and form balls.
Coat with coconut or extra finely chopped nuts.  Place in refrigerator.  Enjoy!
